Due to retirement, the company RIB Skippers Ltd, which has operated a variety of boat trips from Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne, UK for the last 9 years, is closing down its boat trip operations business.

The Company RIB Skippers Ltd is not for sale as the owners have other business interests not related to their boat business.

There are a variety of asset packages of assets for sale, including the vessel, various engine spares and the trading company “Sussex Voyages”.

There are four packages for sale: the vessel ( “Sussex Voyager”), a spares package, a passenger comfort add-on package  and the Company “Sussex Voyages”.

Package 1: The Vessel

This is a 10 metre commercial RHIB (Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boat). Its hull/sponsons were built by Humber in Hull and then the vessel was commercially finished and engined by Humber’s commercial arm – Quinquari Marine at St Davids, Wales in 2006.

The vessel is powered by twin 200HP Evinrude engines, and the vessel has the following notable features:

  •  Twin hydraulic steering.
  •  Twin transom mounted Racor fuel filters.
  •  Forward bench seating for 12 passengers.

 Rear commercial “Expedition” console, with side lockers.
 360 litre underfloor stainless fuel tank.
 “Float free” locker in raised bow to house life raft (not included) : Note this setup allows the life raft to be

installed on the vessel without a hydrostatic release.
 Twin battery system and twin 240 volt trickle chargers.
 Commercially coded (May 2017) by the R.Y.A. to M.C.A. Category 4.

  • Vessel had its 5 year out of water inspection in May 2006  A range of Garmin electronics including:
  •  Colour chart plotter 450
    750s Touchscreen chart plotter with Garmin Blue chart of south UK coast. This chart plotter also operates as an echo sounder, radar and AIS receiver o AIS 600 transmitter / receiver
  •  2 x Garmin 200i VHF fixed VHF radios
  • Separate echo sounder (fishfinder)
  • Radar

 Boat and console cover.
 All equipment to CAT 4 level. (except 14 person life raft – we hire ours, see “general information” on costs)  2 x Evinrude ETEC engines .
